Overview
The Digital Technology Assessment Criteria for health and social care (DTAC) gives staff, patients, and citizens confidence that the digital health tools they use to meet our clinical safety, data protection, technical security, interoperability, usability, and accessibility standards.
Digital services need to go through a lengthy multi-disciplinary assessment to be part of the NHS Apps Library.

Challenge
The assessment was an extensive manual process where all involved share a document via email. During this process, some information could be lost, and different document versions were generated. The challenge was to create a more straightforward process for a length questionnaire allowing the NHS staff to review the solutions confidently.

Results
I created the UI for a tool to assess digital solutions in review to be part of the NHS Apps Library. There were four different stages in the process and three different actors. The actors are a supplier (or developer), NHS or third-party assessor, NHS or third-party auditor. The steps were: the first submission by the supplier or developer, review by an assessor, reply by the supplier or developer, and audit for the assessment.
